Silverstone - Northamptonshire Council and Aylesbury town approved the development of Silverstone as a role model of modern circuit-based environmental and recreation center in which there is a business development centers, technology development center, campus, star hotels and museums Motorsport.
Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone circuit as expressed enthusiasm, Silverstone could be the area of science and technology development and recreation in a friendly place with nature that has a long history of the world races in Britain and the world.
"We are very pleased with the results of planning permission. Initiatives of this application is very important that Silverstone has a long history of the world's 60 years as a home race in England, "said Phillips was quoted as saying PlanetF1, Monday (19/12/2011).
"This plan helped Silverstone to led the motorsport as a sports center, recreation, education and tdchnology Silverstone retain its position as the center of the main goals of the world motorsport," hope Phillips, the legendary British circuit that can later become a pilot in the world's other major circuits.
"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the city council and South Nothamptonshire Aylesbury, for the manner in which the two planning authorities have been working together for this application," he said.
Has not obtained official information when building the project began. But at least, this mega project will involve 8400 workers to 550 construction jobs per year.
