Lovely tennis player Maria Sharapova promised to strengthen Russia face Spain in Fed Cup first round, next February.
"I will strengthen Russia in Fed Cup team against Spain after the Australian Open," Sharapova said on her website.
"I am very happy to play in Moscow. I will be in Australia for four weeks in summer and winter in Moscow for one week," said Sharapova.
Russia will host Spain in Moscow's Olympic indoor stadium between 4-5 February 2012.
Sharapova has been sidelined strengthen themselves in the arena of Russian Fed Cup since he suffered the defeat of the French players, Virginie Razzano in the Fed Cup quarterfinal in February. He later replaced by players backup.
Russia beat France 3-2 and beat Italy 5-0 at semifinal. In Final they lost 2-3 when mengahdapi Republic Czech.
